About

After finishing my BA and Masters of Public Administration from Clemson University, I spent nearly 14 years working in local government, economic development and utilities in Upstate South Carolina. A Seneca native, I bought my first home in Easley SC while I served as the Special Project Coordinator for Pickens County. I worked with community leaders and elected officials to create the first tourism plan for the county. Many of these elements have been successfully implemented positively impacting property values in every community across the County.

My career path took me to Greenville where I worked as a consultant with Appalachian Council of Governments. I worked with employees and elected officials six upstate counties and 42 municipalities.

During my years with the City of Mauldin, I served as a project coordinator. Partnering with business and community leaders as well as elected officials, I spearheaded the effort to re-brand the city. I was a part of the economic development team that spurred the mixed development project visible from I-385 as well as the plan to revitalize the Main Street and Butler Road intersection. During this time I moved from Easley to  Simpsonville SC.

Serving as the Communications Manager for a local utility allowed me the opportunity to further connect with businesses and community groups in the upstate. While working in this role, I moved from Simpsonville to Greer SC. My husband and I built a home in Boiling Springs SC.

Additionally, I have a particular passion for assisting families affected by Alzheimer’s and Autism. My mother’s diagnosis, illness and recent death from early onset Alzheimer’s provided insight as to the impact of this disease on individuals and families. Further, my experiences volunteering as a puppy raiser to train service dogs for families with children on the Austim spectrum allows me to better understand the needs and challenges these families face everyday.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my husband, Thackston, my two bonus daughters, Lena and Sofia, and our very spoiled Shorkie, Poppy Louise.

I think my experiences in government, economic and community development and utilities allow me to provide a fresh perspective on real estate for my clients. I take great pride in the relationships I build and always work relentlessly on the client’s behalf to help them achieve their real estate goals.I have a wealth of knowledge about the upstate community and special needs families. I am so excited to share it with business owners looking for the perfect commercial space or a families looking for the perfect home.
